Jenny Lin is a New York-based actor, graduated from The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and attended The Stella Alder Studio. She made her first theatrical debut in Fall 2018 in an off-broadway show called "Flying Tigers Flying Away". She starred in independent short films such as "Mother Tongue" and "Sweet & Sour". "Mother Tongue" was featured in CAAMfest Online 2020, Chinese American Film Festival, Asian Film Festival, DisOrient Asian American Film Festival of Oregon, and Diaspora Film Festival and in South Korea. "Sweet & Sour" was recognized in the Atlanta, Portland, & Houston Comedy Film Festivals.
Jenny is a part of the development team for the New York Asian Film Festival since 2019 and maintains their Asian American Filmmaker Forum.
Jenny has a Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Arts in Fashion Design and had a career in the fashion industry. She has designed for large and small companies in children’s wear, sportswear, and knitwear. She has contributed to costuming the off-broadway plays "PVT. Wars" and "Rushi: Three Reincarnations of a Chinese Woman". She also helped costume the character Janis Ian in the new Broadway musical “Mean Girls” with the team at Storm Ritter Studios.
